研究领域
细胞趋化的分子机理与调控机制
通过基因和信号转导网络感应环境变化并作出正确应答是细胞的重要功能。趋化现象(定向细胞迁移)是细胞感应外界信号分子空间梯度的生动表现,它由细胞的运动、极性和方向感应三个相互关联的模块组成。细胞的定向运动在胚胎发育中的器官形成及神经元布线、损伤修复和干细胞归巢等诸多生物过程中起关键作用,同时也是炎症反应和癌症转移发生的重要环节。利用细胞生物学、生物化学、光遗传及化学遗传学等多种手段,结合经典模式生物盘基网柄菌(Dictyostelium discoideum)和动物细胞模型,本课题组致力于研究趋化相关的基因和信号转导网络,揭示它们的结构设计在单细胞和群体水平的作用原理及其在定向运动行为中的重要功能,以期阐明包括癌细胞转移等复杂生物学过程的分子机理。
